More about me

Hi, I’m Anaïs! I’m a French-American knitting enthusiast who grew up in Germany and now calls Amsterdam home. My multicultural background has shaped my love for learning and creativity, which I bring to both my knitting projects and my work as a tech editor.

My yarn journey began in 2021 when I picked up a crochet hook and fell in love with the endless possibilities of crafting. In 2023, my curiosity led me to knitting, where I uncovered a new world of techniques and challenges to explore. With a lifelong passion for the precision and logic of math, tech editing became a natural way for me to combine my skills and interests.

Currently, I’m completing the TKGA Tech Editor Certification Course and am excited to bring the knowledge and skills I’ve gained into practice. I’m nearing the end of the course and have already developed a deep understanding of what it takes to make patterns clear, concise, and error-free.

When I’m not knitting or working on patterns, you’ll probably find me exploring Amsterdam, doing yoga, or dreaming up my next creative project. Whether you’re a designer looking for a tech editor or a fellow knitter with a passion for crafting, I’d love to connect!

This last finished object of 2024 that I didn't get to post until now. The #paul_cardigan by @morecaknit. It took me almost two months to knit. I already wore it so much in the last three weeks, it's one of my favorite finished objects so far 🥰 Yar
